Ann Levine works extensively with a wide range of medical center associates to develop and sustain a dynamic system of in-patient diabetes care. With the combined expertise of Nursing, Endocrinology, Hospital Quality Assurance, Pharmacy, Computer Informatics, Nutrition, Medicine, Pathology and Education, we have developed an ever-improving diabetes program. This system includes order sets for in-patient and out-patient insulin prescribing, computer-assisted intravenous insulin administration in the intensive care areas and automatic integration of point-of-care glucose results into the medical record.
