Dr. Shevy Serhofer is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with North American Partners in Anesthesia (NAPA), working primarily at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY.  Shevy has been a Registered Nurse since 2005, earning a Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Downstate University in Brooklyn, NY and her Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University at Buffalo (UB) in 2021. Shevy has a special interest in diabetes management, and served on the diabetes champion committee while working at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City. Additionally, her doctoral project at UB focused on diabetes technology, specifically supporting the safe and effective use of patient-owned diabetes devices while in the hospital. As a CRNA, her interest is now centered on the perioperative setting. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Shevy now enjoys living and working in the Hudson Valley, especially being close to nature.
