Francisco J. Pasquel, M.D., M.P.H, is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Emory University. He completed his training in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, and Epidemiology at Emory University. He takes care of patients with diabetes at Grady Health System and works with other investigators on projects focused on diabetes and cardiovascular disease. His research is partially supported by NIGMS and NIDDK from the NIH. His current projects focus on characterizing metabolic profiles of patients with heart disease under stress, the use of technology for remote care, and cardiovascular disease in high risk patients.
