Dr Mervyn Kyi is an endocrinologist and general physician at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, clinical lead of inpatient diabetes service at the Northern Hospital, and honorary fellow at the University of Melbourne, in Victoria Australia. He graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2007 and completed physician training in Endocrinology in 2015. Supported by NHMRC postgraduate scholarship, he complete PhD studies on early intervention models of diabetes care in hospital at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. Following his PhD, he implemented and now leads proactive inpatient diabetes service at Northern Health. As a clinician researcher, his ongoing research is focussed on therapeutics and acute care in diabetes and endocrinology in hospital.
