Dr. Mihail “Misha” Zilbermint is an Assistant Professor at the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He is the Chief and Director of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Suburban Hospital, Bethesda, MD. After completing endocrinology fellowship at the National Institutes of Health, he established an Inpatient Diabetes Management Service at Suburban Hospital and helped save his hospital hundreds of thousands of dollars by reducing the length of stay of patients with diabetes. His specialized Endocrine Hospitalist team won the Johns Hopkins Innovations in Clinical Care Award in 2017.

He is a passionate educator and teaches endocrinology fellows, hospitalists, pharmacy residents and nurse practitioners. Dr. Zilbermint is currently perusing Masters in Business Administration at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School with the goal of developing high-quality hospital-based endocrine practices.
