Dr. Nestoras Mathioudakis is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Clinical Director of the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Mathioudakis is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and completed his residency and endocrinology fellowship training at Johns Hopkins. He received his Master of Health Science degree in clinical investigation from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Health. His research is focused on discovering ways to improve the safety and quality of care among hospitalized patients with diabetes. He is currently the recipient of an NIH funded grant to develop and evaluate a real-time informatics alert for prevention of insulin-associated hypoglycemia in hospitalized patients.
