Dr. Bijan Najafi is a Professor of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine, focusing on digital health and biotechnologies. He serves as the Director of Clinical Research in Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy, Director of NSF's C2SHIP, and Co-founder/Director of iCAMP. In 2014, Tucson Local Media recognized him as a Most Influential Health and Medical Leader. With a bioengineering Ph.D. from EPFL and a neuroscience postdoc at Harvard, he has published 250+ peer-reviewed articles, earning 14k+ citations. Expertscape ranked him in the top 1% global scholars in 2021 for work on leg ulcers and diabetic peripheral neuropathy.
