Alfonso Galderisi, MD, PhD

Alfonso Galderisi is assistant professor of pediatrics at Yale University. He completed his medical training and his PhD at the University of Padova (Italy). During his postdoctoral fellowship at the Yale University he conducted one of the first studies investigating the use of inhaled insulin in people with type 1 diabetes using an hybrid closed-loop during the meal. His research interests include the physiology of the early preclinical stages of type 1 diabetes.
