 Pavitra Krishnaswamy is a Senior Scientist and Deputy Division Head at the Institute for Infocomm Research, Agency for Science Technology &amp; Research, Singapore. </p><p>Her research interests center on artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning and big data analytics for digital health. Recent efforts focus on leveraging real-world patient data across virtual and in-person care settings for precision health and chronic disease management applications. Pavitra currently serves as a Theme-PI on the Diabetes Clinic of the Future programme, a 4-year grant focused on AI, data science and behavioural economics approaches for individualized diabetes care in Singapore. </p><p>Pavitra earned her PhD in Electrical and Medical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Harvard Medical School. She then completed a postdoctoral stint at MIT, before moving to Singapore. She was nominated as a Future Leader of the Science and Technology in Society Forum in 2017 and named in the Singapore 100 Women in Technology List in 2021.<br/></p>
