Pavitra Krishnaswamy is a Senior Scientist and Deputy Division Head at the Institute for Infocomm Research, Agency for Science Technology & Research, Singapore.

Her research interests center on artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning and big data analytics for digital health. Recent efforts focus on leveraging real-world patient data across virtual and in-person care settings for precision health and chronic disease management applications. Pavitra currently serves as a Theme-PI on the Diabetes Clinic of the Future programme, a 4-year grant focused on AI, data science and behavioural economics approaches for individualized diabetes care in Singapore.

Pavitra earned her PhD in Electrical and Medical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Harvard Medical School. She then completed a postdoctoral stint at MIT, before moving to Singapore. She was nominated as a Future Leader of the Science and Technology in Society Forum in 2017 and named in the Singapore 100 Women in Technology List in 2021.
