Dr. Akturk is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics at the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes, University of Colorado. He is the Communications Director of American Diabetes Association, Diabetes Technology Interest Group Leadership Team. He is the founder and program director of Diabetes Dialog, an annual diabetes update and diabetes technology workshop for nationwide endocrinology fellows. He has been a Principal Investigator in many multi-center clinical trials that investigated diabetes technologies and therapeutics.
