Paul Wadwa, MD

Dr. Wadwa is a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and Director of the Pediatric Clinic at the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes. He holds the Wagner Family Chair in Childhood Diabetes. He has been a member of the faculty at the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes and Children’s Hospital Colorado in Aurora, Colorado since 2003. His primary research focus is on the clinical implementation of artificial pancreas technology with the goal of advancing diabetes technology and other therapies to improve the lives of people with diabetes mellitus. Dr. Wadwa is also engaged in other diabetes related clinical trials and research describing the impact of a pediatric type 1 diabetes telemedicine program. He currently serves on the Advisory Council for the International Society of Pediatric Diabetes (ISPAD).
