Dr. Laura Gandrud Pickett is a pediatric endocrinologist at Park Nicollet Clinic and the International Diabetes Clinic in Minneapolis, MN. Dr. Gandrud Pickett’s interest in diabetes technology began 20 years ago with a study evaluating the Cygnus Glucowatch at diabetes camp. She has since participated in numerous studies involving glucose sensors and sensor-augmented pump therapy. She conducted a randomized clinical trial leveraging mobile technology to remotely monitor and manage children and teens with diabetes. Currently, at the International Diabetes Center, she has been an investigator in studies of automated insulin delivery systems (Omnipod 5 and Medtronic 780G).

Laura received her MD from Harvard Medical School and completed her pediatric residency and pediatric endocrinology fellowship at Stanford University School of Medicine.
