Kyle Rose, MBA
mySugr, Vienna, Austria

Both a healthcare industry veteran and avid patient advocate, Kyle has a background which combines the new world of healthcare consumerization with traditional medical device know-how. His experience includes roles at Abbott, Medtronic, and Sanofi, as well as NGOs such as International Diabetes Federation Europe, Team Type 1 & Team Type 2 (now Team Novo Nordisk), Federation Française des Diabétiques and INNODIA (International consortium under the EU Innovative Medicines Initiative).

Several of the entrepreneurial ventures in which Kyle has participated have resulted in major acquisitions or global agreements in the diabetes space: mySugr - Roche (2017), Team Type 1 - Novo Nordisk (2011), and TheraSense - Abbott Labs (2004). Kyle takes great pride in knowing that products and services he has helped design, shape, and deliver are now being distributed on a global scale to fellow people with diabetes. He believes in bringing together community at a grassroots level and creating new models for healthcare stakeholder collaboration. Kyle is particularly interested in digital health adoption, perhaps best exemplified by his work at mySugr, developer of the world’s most popular diabetes application.

He earned his B.S. Chemical Engineering from Cornell University and MBA from INSEAD. He belongs to INSEAD’s Health Care Management Initiative as EiR Visiting Faculty.
